There is a holiday called Valentine's Day that is observed on certain worlds. I think it's related to falling in love as the Malnosso apparently applies an experiment related to that holiday around the same time every year.
From what I was told, last year people were falling in love with the first person they spoke to through the journals. We should take caution when dealing with the journal during that time.
