[Action - Morning]

[It's around mid-morning on the 27th when the Malnosso finally decided to drop Alexei back into Luceti. They weren't nice enough to at least drop him in his nice, warm, comfy bed and instead drops him on the cherry blossom tree near where Miyabi lives. Alexei hasn't realized where he had been dropped, because he was still unconscious, lying limply on the branches. ]

[Afternoon into Evening]

[Later on that day, once he found his way into town, Alexei can be seen at some of the shops, trying to locate his personal items and clothes. Those who know him will notice something was different with Alexei, he seem younger in appearance. He still had a few twigs and leaves after his ventures to get out of the tree and still rather disorientated about his situation. It just...sounded ridiculous what he was told. But the wings remind him that there is probably some truth to what he has been told. Damn wings need to stop hurting.

Alexei can be found in the general, clothing and smithy store during most of the afternoon. Closer to the evening, he'll be found in the Good Spirits Bar, looking around to have a chat with any of the residents here. So he may come up and grab your attention. When things quiet down, he'll bring out his journal, skimming absently through it...turning it over a few times.]

How does this journal actually work...? [The journal picks up his question that he didn't intentionally mean for anyone to hear. He was just thinking out loud.]

[OOC: Alexei has been temporarily de-aged to around his mid 20s. 24ish I put him down as. He doesn't remember his time in Luceti this time around, believing he is a "new feather". All responses will be done through

I suppose you could say that. Though I still have a lot to learn as a knight.

...What was he looking at? He's taken aback by Red's appearance and almost forgets the question.]

Umm...well it's big. Has a lot of people in it. Uhhh, cars, buildings, you name it.

I'm not really sure how to explain it.

[He'll take off one glove - sauce stains, you see - and hold out his hand for young Alexei to shake.]

Anyway, the name's Red. You look kinda lost. Can I do anythin' to help?

[A headtilt, curiously amused.] Is that what the san is for?

...Well, that would depend on how you fight. I wouldn't mind a sparring partner though.

How is America governed? [that should hopefully narrow down what he's actually interested in]

Ooooh okay. Uh well it's a democracy. We vote for the leader we want and they talk about stuff all together and decide how things should go.

[He hesitates for a moment, but he'll slowly shake Red's hand in due time. He looked like a monster, but he could speak. Strange]

Alexei, and you're partially right. I've just arrive to this place, so I'm familiarizing myself of this village. I've been told a few things about this place, who runs it at least. [...And people telling him he's been here before.]

It is! Of course. It is an honorific. For we are not intimate, nor are we so detached from each other, Alexei-san!

I fight using hand-to-hand taijutsu. And I will never mind another sparring partner in the least!

[Nrrgh, damn, he's awake. At least Alexei's still in the tree though, and not splattered all over the snow. Miyabi huff and whistles again, louder this time, for the Lucky Mallet, which finally emerges from a snow bank and does its duty in sizing the girl up to her demure human size of only 4'10". It's better than 3/4 of an inch at least. This way, she can at least act as a better cushion if the man does fall and she has to, uh...yeah. "Catch" him. This way she won't die.

And it makes getting up on the tree a lot easier, too, if she's got to hurry. For now, however, Miyabi just stays on the ground and calls up. She can't see the finer details of the man she knows, so she really suspects nothing has really changed about him.]

Mister Alexei, are you okay?! Can you get down on your own? J-Just don't move too much and you should be okay. I can come get you if I have to!

Hand-to-hand...I've never actually met someone trained in hand-to-hand, and I feel like I'd put you at a slight disadvantage for using a weapon.

It sounds like a government for the people. [He could sit behind that.] Anyone can vote?

I'm...[This is really high up. He can kinda see someone just below him though. A girl?] I'm all right! I haven't quite worked out the getting down part though.

[Did his voice change a little? Miyabi's not sure, but it sounds a little bit...different. Just slightly, but it's there. A little less gruff and low-pitched, and more smooth. She quietly wonders what that's about, but shakes the thought away. No time for that! It's probably nothing anyway.]

All right, just don't move too much. I'll come up and help you down. [And, with practiced ease, she crouches down and springs up onto the lowest hanging branch, then again, and again, and again - hopping, swinging, and bouncing her way like a grasshopper up to the branch just a few feet under Alexei. Even the snow covering the wood doesn't slow her down, or make her skid, either. Miyabi's lived in that kind of environment for eighty-some years. She knows how to navigate. Plus, a poncle's balance is erring on legendary.] Here, take my hand and we can climg down together, A--....ah.

A-Alexei?

[WHOA MAN, what happened, you look tiny and less wrinkly. :|a]

Wait, don't- [ffff, he wasn't going to risk what he believes is a child that's coming up here. Imagine his look of surprise when he saw her much closer to him now.]

I can use some weapons as well, but I do not train with them often. Name your weapon.

Of course. It wouldn't really be a government for the people if that was the case...well at least for a part of the world.

[Because than there's the hierarchy that his brother is involved in.]

Alexei?!

[Red's jaw drops, letting that bone clatter to the floor. Without really thinking, he grabs another one from the plate and pops it in his mouth.]

Yeah, you've been here before! You talked to me when I first got here, remember? Did the Malnosso do somethin' to ya?

[Nah, not a child, but what does appear to be a young teenager - about six or seventeen, physically. Poncles can live for hundreds of years, and they age a heck of a lot slower than humans do. Hell, Miyabi herself is nearing ninety years chronologically. One hundred, and she'll finally be considered an adult in her culture.

Regardless, Miyabi has to pause for a second, and blink several. Does she--...ah. Yes, that'd explain why he's young, and in her tree, too. Ugh, but now she has to explain as well. What a mess.]

We can talk about that when we get down, give me your hand, please. I won't let you fall.

I-I did? [He jumped slightly from Red's reaction and then frowns] I'm...sorry, I don't remember ever being here before. You're not the first to tell me this though.

[You are oooold. He looks to her for a moment, frowning. Explanation would be appreciated, but he'd love to get out of this tree first. So he reaches out to grab hold of her hand, albeit hesitant at first.]

And is it effective? [...] Sorry for all the questions. The Empire doesn't really work like that where I'm from, so I'm rather curious about your democracy.
