[So sometime during the meeting (Vesperia Spoilers alert) between Alexei and Raven on Valentine's day, the journal was probably moved by someone during the convo so bits of their conversation plays through the journal]

[Annnd there are just sounds of weapons firing and clash. Someone screams during the commotion, but it's going to be some time before the noise finally subsides.]

[There's the sound of the door shutting and then a loud thud. Alexei had collapsed onto the floor]

[... Well. This explains why Raven (eventually) came home looking like a mess. He doesn't catch this recording the moment it happens (a little while afterward, really), but ... hm. Old man, someone's gonna have a little chat with you when you recover.

Also, interesting how that girl who told him about Jin seems to know Alexei well enough to yell out his name like that. Looks like he's got more of a reason to get in contact with her again now.

And he's not gonna say a word to you, Alexei. As much as he's glad to hear you getting slapped around, he's also ticked off about it, since he knows you've got connections here that might want to get back at Raven for this. Just gotta be a pain no matter what you do, eh :|
