[...Nature must really be out of whack or just hates Luceti lately. These butterflies were such a nuisance, but easy enough to deal with...at least for Alexei. Sounds of something being burned and a girl yelling in fright can be heard while Alexei deals with a mob of butterflies swarming around the house 29.]

Mayoi! Get inside and make sure everything's closed shut!

[ooc: Alexei will be outside to deal with the flesh eating butterflies, so he won't respond right away to his journal. Mayoi will be responding to anyone who contacts him through the journal, at least at the start.]

[The moment Sokka heard Mayoi's name on the journals, he was already on his way. Alexei, he doesn't like you, but he will fight with you. Which is why you'll see a boomerang flying nearby, cutting through several of those butterflies with amazing accuracy.]

[Let's deal with the I hate yous after this is over. He vaguely recognizes the object that was flying around, and cutting down the butterflies.]

[Follow the boomerang, because it goes right into Sokka's hand as he shows up. As he does so, he has his own sword out. It's clear one of those things got him earlier, judging by a bloody bandage on his right arm. Regardless, he's doing his best to focus on Eferin to light his sword on fire as he cuts through another one. When he gets a chance, he glares up at Alexei.]

Getting bitten by flesh eating butterflies on a Wednesday afternoon isn't exactly part of my ideal day, but I only got a few bites before getting away.

And aren't you the little girl who was gonna teach me a lesson? Why is Alexei tellin' ya to get back into the house? I didn't think he was into jailbait.

If you need more protection to keep them out the house I have wards I. I can bring them over.

As for the second part - I was being attacked by those insane butterfly things while coming home from a walk and Alexei helped me. He's outside right now fighting.

Is she safe? [He's edging his way to the door, swiping at a few more of those insects. He can't hit them all, but he's not doing too bad for the regular guy.]

None of them got inside it looks like. My housemate is fighting them off outside right now, so I think it'll be okay. [her voice is a little hesitant. he's wearing some armor and knows he's a capable fighter - but anything could go wrong.]

I would fight them if I could, but I don't think biting those things are healthy for me. And why are you thanking me?

And of course ya can fight them! Just grab a broom or somethin' and whack 'em away. There isn't that many of them around.

I used my backpack to attack some while coming her, but that didn't really do much of anything.

Alright. Do you know what's going on maybe - the Malnosso are cruel but they don't normally do experiments that can physically hurt us, from what I've seen since coming.

How many butterflies were out there exactly?

I haven't been able to go inside with all of these butterflies.

[He's about to volunteer himself immediately, but... well, maybe it's not the most practical solution yet. So as he fights a few more of them off.]

Do you know any healing magic? Or first aid?

The people here are much more unpredictable.

There are some suggestions on how to deal with them but just...focus on being safe, okay? If any come near you throw water on them and they shouldn't be able to move for a while.
