[If people happen to be passing through Community Building 7, floor 5 today, they might want to watch where they're stepping. There was a young man passed out and face down in the middle of the hallway and he was garbed in new feather clothing.

Sometime later that day, into the afternoon, this "new feather" will have wandered from the building and making for the plaza to get something more suitable to wear than just new feather garbs. After that...he could go back to his place, but the night was still young. He still felt a little out of it, but he wasn't so tired that he wanted to go home and rest.

He may reconsider that later after stopping by the the Good Spirits Bar though. :|; ]

I'd say it's fortunate. [If only because she knows Alexei is smart enough to see Kusanagi and Noel at different times and put two and two together. >> Also, ignoring that second part.]

...Almost nostalgic. I feel as if a great weight has been lifted, eventhough I still have all my memories.

Why should it matter now? Besides, there are some things I've done in my life I do not wish to lose. I changed the image of the Knights and the system for the better. It was not an easy feat.

Despite what you might have heard, I did help the Empire back on its feet after a terrible war devastated most of the world.

I've achieved much in my life and I don't regret any decisions I've made along the way. I did what I believed was the right thing to do, to satisfy a whole. Although...just because I could didn't mean I was always willing to do it. The pieces simply fell into place that the choice was made for me.

Even if my methods were questionable, I always hoped the conclusion I sought for would justify my actions...

It wasn't my first choice. I tried other means before I made the decision to use her Highness. If I had the means of creating what I needed artificially, I wouldn't had to use her at all.

...I try not to think about it to let it bother me. Being in my position, I didn't have the leisure to regret or doubt my actions. People had expectations of me, I could not disappoint.

Although being here changes things. And I'm beginning to regret that having a few drinks after just returning was a good idea.

I don't think so. [...maybe. It was a long time ago. She'd ask what 'being the voice' had to do with the torture of Estelle, but she thinks they may be on different pages. She's just as willing to drop the subject, however.]

...We have the Council and the Imperial Knights. The Council had more power over the Empire and for a time, the Imperial Knights had no equal standing, neither did its citizens. If you were not of nobility, you were ignored, you couldn't even join the knights, if you weren't of noble blood. I went in and changed that. I represented all the strength and the voice of the common people, and the desire to bring equality between the two classes. A world where everyone had an equal chance of achieving what they wanted.

I could not disappoint them, it was my dream as well...and I would do anything to see it made possible...even if it changes the world.
