[Action - Morning]

[It's around mid-morning on the 27th when the Malnosso finally decided to drop Alexei back into Luceti. They weren't nice enough to at least drop him in his nice, warm, comfy bed and instead drops him on the cherry blossom tree near where Miyabi lives. Alexei hasn't realized where he had been dropped, because he was still unconscious, lying limply on the branches. ]

[Afternoon into Evening]

[Later on that day, once he found his way into town, Alexei can be seen at some of the shops, trying to locate his personal items and clothes. Those who know him will notice something was different with Alexei, he seem younger in appearance. He still had a few twigs and leaves after his ventures to get out of the tree and still rather disorientated about his situation. It just...sounded ridiculous what he was told. But the wings remind him that there is probably some truth to what he has been told. Damn wings need to stop hurting.

Alexei can be found in the general, clothing and smithy store during most of the afternoon. Closer to the evening, he'll be found in the Good Spirits Bar, looking around to have a chat with any of the residents here. So he may come up and grab your attention. When things quiet down, he'll bring out his journal, skimming absently through it...turning it over a few times.]

[Voice]

How does this journal actually work...? [The journal picks up his question that he didn't intentionally mean for anyone to hear. He was just thinking out loud.]

[OOC: Alexei has been temporarily de-aged to around his mid 20s. 24ish I put him down as. He doesn't remember his time in Luceti this time around, believing he is a "new feather". All responses will be done through

destinedtofall and information about his young self can be found on there too.]

[Lee is in Good Spirits as well, chopsticking some ramen in a break from his mix of training and patrolling. But he sees this unfamiliar man looking through his journal and is intrigued.

Moments later, Lee seats himself next to the man and flips through his journal while peering over Alexei's shoulder at his own journal, trying to match the page.]

Have I missed important news?

What? [He looks to who had settled down beside him, looking him over for a moment.]

Oh...No, I was just looking over this journal. I can't quite figure out how they work.

[He says as he turns it over again. What source of power is it using? It reminded him of the blastia back home, but not at the same time.]

[Cross can't help but over hear this. Actually he's been wondering that himself for awhile. Magic and science is a great explanation on why it works. But it doesn't explain the how other than magic and science doing stuff together.]

Not really sure myself. I'm still trying to figure out the actual technology. But it's something between some high tech equipment and the use of magic.

Oh, I see! [He snaps his own journal shut.] The way they run, it is quite simply... a mystery!

[What-...oh, right this thing records voices regardless of whether you want it to or not.]

It would be nice, if it came with the option to turn certain settings off. A shame I doubt the Malnosso would tell us if we asked.

[The sound of pages being turned can be heard.] Who is this that I'm speaking to by the way?

Maybe there is. I'm still looking in on it though.

[He's been wanting to disassemble his journal for weeks to look at it.]

But, my name's Cross, nice to meet you.

That's exactly what I'm trying to solve. [He stops messing with the journal for a moment] But first, who may I ask, are you?

[He stares intensely at the man, who seems fairly youthful himself.]

My name is Rock Lee! I am a ninja from Konoha. They know me as Konoha's Beautiful Green Wild Beast!

Cross. Lieutenant--...Alexei, a pleasure speaking with you.

[He stops flipping the pages. He's still getting to used to not introducing himself by his full title. It didn't really matter in this place after all.] If I pulled a page from its binding, would it still work?

[...What is with that intense stare? And what is with that title?]

Beautiful Green Wild Beast? Is that suppose to be a title to impress the ladies?

Ah... that is not my intention. It speaks of my formidability, sir! But, I- I cannot deny that ladies would be impressed by such a title that emphasizes my dynamic youth...

[You know, is Miyabi hadn't decided to go out today and shovel off the snow from her roof she may not have noticed the dangling arms and legs hanging a few meters overhead. Thankfully, though, she does see those limbs and sputters our of not-so-concealed shock, uttering a high-pitched squeak. G-Gods, what even--oh, it's a p-person...

H-Hey! Ah...oh gods, if they fall...

[Bah, how troublesome. She looks left and right, whistling for the Lucky Mallet as she bounces her way from her house's roof and onto the snow, close to the trunk of the tree. She's got to get up there before that person rolls over and off those branches, fffff. It'd be a nasty thing to wake up to - a split skull. 8|a;;]

Lieutenant? [Sorry, didn't cut yourself off fast enough, man.]

Uh it's nice speaking to you too, Alexei.

[And there's a question he can answer.]

From what I get, if you pull a page out of this thing it's taken off the big journal network and no one can see it. At lest, I think that's how it goes.

[The cold nip of the winter's air will reach his senses soon enough and slowly bring his consciousness back. He could hear someone's voice, a bit muffled and distant as his senses were still a bit groggy. There was this pain he was starting to feel on his back as well, a sort of numbing pain. Did he sleep funny? And why was it so cold?

The branch creaks as Alexei slowly opened his eyes and found himself staring at the snow cover ground several feet away from him.]

...What...!? [His body shifted out of reflex, and he's going to freeze a moment later when he realizes that's a bad idea. He doesn't exactly have much space on this branch to move around. Oh god, how did even he stuck in this situation!?]

[Trying not to laugh at the thought of Lee wooing girls with that title.]

So in battle, you fight similarly like a wild beast? And that is how you came to that title?

Ah, it's a rank I currently hold as an Imperial Knight back home. I don't know if that would sound familiar to you, considering...how this place brings anyone from anywhere here apparently.

[Still can't quite fathom the idea of people from other universe and worlds]

The big journal network? ...So then it just becomes a normal piece of paper.

No, we actually have the same kind of titles back in my world. But they're usually used for the police or military.

[Imperial knight? Wait this guy's a knight? Oh wow, awesome.]

Something like that. The pages also don't run out.

Not exactly. My beloved mentor, Gai-Sensei, the greatest and most admirable fighter I have ever known, he has been known as the Sublime Blue Beast of Prey! Like him, I am a young beast, and I suppose I am unpredictable in combat! Additionally, I wear green! [He says with a confident tug at his spandex.]

If you're using it like that, doesn't it mean you've already figured it out?

Ah, I see. Heh, well I figured that was where the green part came from. [Oh, he should probably say who is now, shouldn't he?]

Alexei, Lieutenant in the Imperial Knights. [He extends a hand out in a gesture to shake Lee's hand.]

The pages-...[What?] How does that make any sense?

[As he boggles over how illogical that was] Where were you from before you arrived here?

...Well, I understand what the journal is for, but not how it works the way it does.

I am pleased to meet you, Alexei-san! Ah, so you are a proud warrior as well?

[He grips his hand and gives it a very lively shaking.]

Not sure, it's some really complicated science. Still trying to work it out.

[But he doesn't exactly have a masters engineering degree.]

I was from Earth though. In America.

[Red's just relaxing, enjoying a cup of hot tea and some chicken wings after a hard day's work. A lot of people have gone by, but Red never really pays any mind to them... until Alexei shows up.]

[There's something familiar about this young man, Red ponders while chewing on one of the bones. Too familiar. He gets up from his seat at the bar, holding out a hand in an attempt at stopping Alexei.]
