[Action - Morning]

[It's around mid-morning on the 27th when the Malnosso finally decided to drop Alexei back into Luceti. They weren't nice enough to at least drop him in his nice, warm, comfy bed and instead drops him on the cherry blossom tree near where Miyabi lives. Alexei hasn't realized where he had been dropped, because he was still unconscious, lying limply on the branches. ]

[Afternoon into Evening]

[Later on that day, once he found his way into town, Alexei can be seen at some of the shops, trying to locate his personal items and clothes. Those who know him will notice something was different with Alexei, he seem younger in appearance. He still had a few twigs and leaves after his ventures to get out of the tree and still rather disorientated about his situation. It just...sounded ridiculous what he was told. But the wings remind him that there is probably some truth to what he has been told. Damn wings need to stop hurting.

Alexei can be found in the general, clothing and smithy store during most of the afternoon. Closer to the evening, he'll be found in the Good Spirits Bar, looking around to have a chat with any of the residents here. So he may come up and grab your attention. When things quiet down, he'll bring out his journal, skimming absently through it...turning it over a few times.]

How does this journal actually work...? [The journal picks up his question that he didn't intentionally mean for anyone to hear. He was just thinking out loud.]

[OOC: Alexei has been temporarily de-aged to around his mid 20s. 24ish I put him down as. He doesn't remember his time in Luceti this time around, believing he is a "new feather". All responses will be done through

destinedtofall and information about his young self can be found on there too.]

It would be nice, if it came with the option to turn certain settings off. A shame I doubt the Malnosso would tell us if we asked.

[The sound of pages being turned can be heard.] Who is this that I'm speaking to by the way?

Maybe there is. I'm still looking in on it though.

[He's been wanting to disassemble his journal for weeks to look at it.]

[He stops flipping the pages. He's still getting to used to not introducing himself by his full title. It didn't really matter in this place after all.] If I pulled a page from its binding, would it still work?

Lieutenant? [Sorry, didn't cut yourself off fast enough, man.]

[And there's a question he can answer.]

From what I get, if you pull a page out of this thing it's taken off the big journal network and no one can see it. At lest, I think that's how it goes.

Ah, it's a rank I currently hold as an Imperial Knight back home. I don't know if that would sound familiar to you, considering...how this place brings anyone from anywhere here apparently.

[Still can't quite fathom the idea of people from other universe and worlds]

The big journal network? ...So then it just becomes a normal piece of paper.

No, we actually have the same kind of titles back in my world. But they're usually used for the police or military.

[Imperial knight? Wait this guy's a knight? Oh wow, awesome.]

[As he boggles over how illogical that was] Where were you from before you arrived here?

Not sure, it's some really complicated science. Still trying to work it out.

[But he doesn't exactly have a masters engineering degree.]

I was from Earth though. In America.

Umm...well it's big. Has a lot of people in it. Uhhh, cars, buildings, you name it.

How is America governed? [that should hopefully narrow down what he's actually interested in]

Ooooh okay. Uh well it's a democracy. We vote for the leader we want and they talk about stuff all together and decide how things should go.

It sounds like a government for the people. [He could sit behind that.] Anyone can vote?

Of course. It wouldn't really be a government for the people if that was the case...well at least for a part of the world.

[Because than there's the hierarchy that his brother is involved in.]

And is it effective? [...] Sorry for all the questions. The Empire doesn't really work like that where I'm from, so I'm rather curious about your democracy.

It can be. But sometimes people disagree, which is kind of silly.

[Everything about the government is apparently silly.]

But, nah it's okay! I don't mind answering questions. But mind if I ask how your government runs? Is it like that hierarchy my brother has to deal with?

We have a monarchy, but...[a frown] it's the Council that have the real pull on the Empire, not the Royal Family.

[There's a small bit of loathing in his voice.]

[Yeah, he can hear that loathing from space.]

Guessing the council is not the greatest people.

Let's just say they're rather ignorant of people unless they have money to talk with.

That's just wrong. But, I can't say I haven't seen stuff like that before.

It's unfortunate there are people out there who would abuse their power that way.

I asked the person who found me earlier, but...is there really no way to leave this place?

Yeah, but I'm sure there are those who use it for good.

[And Cross wants to get said power to do that...and for other selfish reasons but details. But he frowns. How does he say that?]
