[Today, Alexei is going to be starting his day a little early, carrying a medium size sack with him...he's a light traveler. He's gone off to the Good Spirits Bar, to meet up with Nami, Sanji and Noel as planned. Here's hoping nothing happens...or has happened that he wasn't aware of. He'll be sitting at the counter, jotting things down in a notebook he was carrying with him.

Once they meet up, had some breakfast, gone over what they have and the plan, they'll start heading for the forest on the west side of town.]

[ooc: Nami and Noel will be present in this thread and Sanji in spirit. You're free to run into them at the bar or skip ahead and meet them in the forest on the west side of town as they're going to be heading towards the barrier.]

Why exactly do you feel the need to check out the barrier anyway?

Curiosity. [Half the reason anyway] Someone name Kurtis brought up the idea of somehow sending a signal outside of the barrier. I'd like to take a closer look at this barrier and see if anything can be done.

Any ideas on how to get a signal through? Or will it be trial and error once we reach it? [sorry for the interrogation, but Sanji likes to know how many of the bases are covered]

That would be him.

No, I'm not sure how to yet. I've only drawn out the blue prints and would like to make a general observation of the barrier before trying to make anything. I want to see if the barrier has a weak point, or several weak points we aren't aware of, where the barrier's strength isn't as strong.

On my behalf, it's kind of a joint effort. I need to start mapping this place, and this means I can start looking at the countryside around here with some company.

I only mention I was going to the barrier to them. Then we all decided it would be best to go as a group. There's no telling what we'll come across between here and the barrier.
