[...Nature must really be out of whack or just hates Luceti lately. These butterflies were such a nuisance, but easy enough to deal with...at least for Alexei. Sounds of something being burned and a girl yelling in fright can be heard while Alexei deals with a mob of butterflies swarming around the house 29.]

Mayoi! Get inside and make sure everything's closed shut!

[ooc: Alexei will be outside to deal with the flesh eating butterflies, so he won't respond right away to his journal. Mayoi will be responding to anyone who contacts him through the journal, at least at the start.]

[He's about to volunteer himself immediately, but... well, maybe it's not the most practical solution yet. So as he fights a few more of them off.]

Do you know any healing magic? Or first aid?

I do.

[...idea!] Help me open a path to the door. I doubt they'll follow once we're inside and shut the door.

[That's not nearly as heroic as Sokka fighting them off while you go in there and help Mayoi like a total wimp. But it does make more sense. Dammit.]

Okay! I think I've got an idea.

[He's never done this before, but it's worth a try. This is either going to be awesome or potentially kill him. He positions his sword towards the house and holds one hand out forward. He then stabs the house in the spot where he believes the wiring would be in her house based off his visit there. At the same time, he mentally calls on Tsinku's power... and redirects that electricity from his sword arm into his left arm, sending out a continuous jolt of electricity towards each individual Tease he spots. As awesome as this is, he's wondering what he's going to do when he needs to separate himself from his sword. He isn't feeling his most mobile at the moment.]

[...brilliant idea, Sokka. Except now you blew a fuse from doing that and leaving Mayoi in the dark. He takes out a few more Tease until he reaches Sokka. With the power out, he grabs Sokka by the arm and pulls him inside and shuts the door. ]

[Oops. Maybe these houses had a limited amount of power after all. He does manage to squirm away just enough to bring his sword with him before the door shuts. He lets out a sigh. Although he feels drained, it's not nearly as much as when he used his own energy for Tsinku. He just needs something to eat.]

I think my technique needs a little work.

[She'll see him coming in through the dark, after closing off Alexei's journal.]

Ale- Sokka? [it's definitely Sokka. he doesn't look nearly as built as Alexei, even in the dark, and the voice is recognizable.] What are you doing here? [she would make a stalking joke again, but this is a bit serious]

He's here, to make sure you're okay. [And take out the power. Alexei didn't come out of that completely unharmed. They had gone after what skin that was showing, his neck, face, minor scraps]

Where did the insects get you?

[Sokka nods at that. It is why he's here. As for Sokka, he got an extra cut on the back from a butterfly that tried to bite him while he was being electroman.]

I'll be fine. You okay Mayoi?

I just got some bites on my arm and legs, but I think everything will be fine. I already put a couple bandages on as well for the serious wounds.

[He looks for something to light up the room a little better, a candle]

May I see? Both of you. I can at least heal minor wounds.

[How about a flashlight? Sokka reaches into his manbag to pull one out and clicks it on.]

Take care of Mayoi. I'll be fine.

I'll be okay too. It's just minor little bites. They'll heal eventually. How is it outside - are there still any left?

A few. Might be best if we don't go outside for a while.

[He gives Mayoi a look that he's being serious about looking at those injuries]

I can't stick around for too long. I have to check on my friends. [But he's gonna hand that flashlight to Alexei. It'll make it easier to check for wounds if he can see.]

I agree - what is with this place and this week? [she'll sigh, rubbing her arm a little to ease the pinching pain of the bites] Okay Sokka. Stay safe and good luck.

By the way, why did the lights go off?

All right. You should at least let me tend to some of your injuries before you leave.

[He thanks Sokka for the flashlight and starts tending to Mayoi's injuries.]

Sure. [He doesn't like you Alexei, but using logic on Sokka tends to work. As for the electricity...]

That was kind of my fault. I sort of used it all up.

[There isn't much to tend to with her wounds, but whatever. She'll lend Alexei her arms for him to look over, while looking at Sokka with disbelief]

How did you do that exactly?

I might have stabbed my sword into your wiring. And then used magic to shoot bugs with it. A little.

I thought you couldn't use magic? [she sighs] So you used the electricity to become a bug zapper.

[Once he's finished with Mayoi, he'll go right to Sokka]

Was that Filial Magic?

[Sokka nods. He's not comfortable with Alexei looking him over though, clearly.]

Yeah. It was Tsinku, the lightning spirit. That one is kind of hard to use.

Filial magic, huh? [she read about it before, but never heard of anyone using it.] Sounds cool. Next time just don't kill the lights.

Interesting. [He's getting ideas in his head now...And Alexei finishes healing most of Sokka's minor injuries a few minutes later]

The light will come back in due time.

Regenerating houses, right. [Sokka exercises his arm a bit. Seems good enough.]
