I have a few curious questions. If you're comfortable sharing your thoughts, I'd like to hear a little about the other kinds of experiments people have experienced here. What was the worst experiment you've been through, what experiment seem the most harmless to you?

The experiment that occur this past week was my first here in Luceti, so I'm rather curious to hear some interesting stories of people's previous experiences with these experimentation.

There has only been one other massive scale experiment in my time here, with a variety of effects. I was reverted to a child in that instance.

This land has promise, but for our captors. The Malnosso who so freely manipulate others in form for reasons that are unknown and likely arbitrary, and then demand that those same victims fight for them are an undesirable set of hosts at best.

Really. Did you still retain your memories as a child, or were you truly a child?

And yet, we cannot stand up against them, for it is because of them that were are still here. Is that right?

I was a child in every sense of the word. In my mind, I had somehow been brought here from my prison cell--not from my "present" five centuries later.

If that is of greater concern to you. The simple truth is that at present, the Malnosso have greater power than what can be overcome. And as they've made even death meaningless somehow, they've also taken away even the hope of dying while fighting for freedom.

You have lived quite a long time. Far pass the standard life span I am used to.

A cycle with no end. Surprise no one has gone mad from being trapped here, without knowing, if they can escape from the cycle. Can this place truly cheat death when one dies of natural cause? People can still age here as far as I'm aware.

Are you a mortal, then? Such a lifespan is less than many where I'm from.

An interesting question, though I haven't seen any indication of an answer. The information we've been presented with would indicate that this place hasn't been in existence long enough for one to be determined.

An immortal being? [...What do you call someone who has already died and yet is still alive somehow?] Yes, I suppose you can say that I am.

This place. If I remember correctly, this is recorded as the fourth "year" of Luceti's existence. If it has a history beyond that, I am not aware of it.

I've heard about it, but I haven't really looked into it either. Mostly because I don't have my bow with me. [something she has been trying to find a suitable replacement for, but really wasn't having much luck.]

The worst experiment for a lot of people will be Halloween. October last year. Bad hallucinations for everyone.

It's a holiday in some places. I'm not that familiar with it, but it seems to be the time of year for dressing up in spooky costumes and trying to scare people. The Malnosso just decided to take it that one step further.

The only other one I can think of is around Valentine's Day. Which is in just over a week, actually. People tend to fall in love with each other for no apparent reason.

...I'd avoid your journal from the 14th for a couple weeks if you can manage it.

I haven't been through one that could truly be considered "dangerous", but ... my first one seemed to be a chaotic mix of many different types! The amount of chaos from it all could very easily be considered harmful, I think.

Mm, that's right. Some people grew older or younger, some changed gender, some became entirely different people altogether ... it was very varied, that one!

Ah ... a nicely furnished and decorated prison, maybe? It even comes with inmates willing to fight or intimidate others simply to prove something to themselves! [gigglegiggle]

Well, they keep things interesting here at least. I can't imagine people not getting bored of being trapped in a village.
