[4/14 - Voice]

[It was already getting dark outside by the time Alexei had put an end to Ganondorf. It was a difficult battle, even with Ganon not at full strength, but he did it. Now he's stuck in the mountains, too badly injured to even manage a walk back to the village. He's pretty sure he broke a few ribs after taking that punch, so he's not sure what'll happen if he doesn't get help soon. He shifts his body where he laid, trying to find something, but also trying not to agitate his injuries any further.

Did he even have it on him...? He sure he brought it just in case. Ah, the journal fell out some point during the battle, just a few feet out of his reach. It'll take him a moment move himself over there, but he'll finally put out a message. The journal's camera simply picks up the ceiling of the cave.]

Ganondorf has been taken down...He is a threat no more. [ There's sounds of movement as Alexei tries to keep himself from suffocating. It's rather difficult to breath and talk after being punched in the chest]

I...could use some assistance. In the mountains. [He ends the transmission there. The important part of the message was broadcast, now he just conserving energy until he gets a response.]

[4/15 - Voice/Action]

[It'll be the afternoon of the next day, when Alexei wakes up from his ordeal. He had been changed out of his uniform and wearing a hospital gown now. Bandages were wrapped around the middle part of his face. He's not able to leave the bed, much to his disappointment, but at least he can talk to any visitors that come through and check his journal. Speaking of.]

...Good afternoon, Luceti. This is Alexei, and I am the one who finally defeated Ganondorf. [A beat.] I wanted to take this moment to give my thanks to those of you who were involved in stopping him, your valiant efforts are what made his defeat even possible.

It is unfortunate that this victory is only a temporary one, but we now have the time to take proper action should he try something like this again upon his return.

[OOC: The rescue part has been reserved to Asbel, Caius and Daisy, though you are free to still talk to him and/or check on the situation o/]

[Alexei. One of the people in charge of the training school. Asbel had managed to become more acquainted with the man recently...]

How badly are you injured, sir? [He's already coming on his way to come help you, Alexei.]

We'll need to know what kind of injuries do you have. We'll bring over a litter if we have to.

['Some assistance' sounds like one heck of an understatement right now. Caius also starts getting ready to head out as soon as he can.]

Help is on its way right now, so just take it easy and don't do anything stupid. [Not that he imagines Alexei of all people would do something dumb, but with his injuries already being inquired about it seemed better to reassure him someone was coming right away.]

[Three voices, he's recognizes them all for the most part.] I think the litter will be necessary...might have broken a few ribs after that punch.

[there's a pause as he takes a moment to catch his breath.] That's most critical right now. A few bruises and cuts elsewhere.

[...He had to grin slightly from Caius' remark.] Heh, right. There's a cave, I won't be leaving it anytime soon.

Just stay right where you are. We'll be right there.

[Broken ribs... Alright. Spartans would often get worse wounds than these.]

Alexei, sir. This will sound strange, but lean on your injured side so you get to breathe more easily. Keep your head and torso up while we're on our way.

Those of us helping: Gather at the clinic, we're getting a litter and some first-aid equipment before we move out.

[There is shuffling on the side of her comm as she moves on, quickly entering and checking for equipment that would be necessary.]

How good is your hold with Nala? We're going to need someone to keep the rest of his wounds in check and reduce the pain.

[He was considering just heading off to the mountains right away, but charging off without any supplies wouldn't work out very well here. It won't be long before he arrives at the clinic to help.]

I'm no good with any of the spirits, but I'll help out any other way I can.

[It did sounded strange, but now was not a good time to be difficult. They could hear movement on his end as he re-adjusted himself accordingly.]

I have a healing arte that should keep my injuries from getting worse. If...contact me if you have trouble locating me. [He's going to be resting, but he'll keep his journal open so he can hear them.]

[Nala... Well, that ruled Asbel out. He knew he wasn't any good at healing.]

Alright... The two of you, let's move out.

[Upon gathering the gear, SPARTAN-023 sets it on the rutsack on the lower back of her armor to carry, and follows.]

Understood. I'll be treating him on the way. When one of you gets tired, I'm taking over your position. Priority is to reduce the pain and keep him from bleeding out from his other injuries. Alexei should help as well.

Alexei, we're on our way.

[She moves on with the rest of the group, assisting them in paths that could be harder to manage and to go through, serving as a ladder, moving rocks, among other things. Every once in a while, she stands fully straight to spot Alexei.]

[This whole rescue mission seems so organised and intense. It's almost kind of cool to him, in a way.]

If you need extra help I'm sure I can carry Alexei by myself. [He's sure he could handle it, if he transformed.] Then the two of you can look after and check on him at the same time.

[As they move as a group, Caius will be doing his best to follow any directions given to him by Daisy or Asbel. They both seem to know what they're doing, more so than he does, so he'd rather follow along than risk messing up something this important.]

[Alexei is listening to them, but says nothing for the time being. If they want to check on his condition, they only need to ask.

When they do find the cave, Alexei will be laying inside a ring of icicles. They're leftover from when Alexei used Guardian Frost to slow his condition from getting worse.]

[Once the group arrives at the location, Asbel's the first to run over to check on Alexei's condition, crouching down next to him to get a look at him.]

Alexei, sir! Are you alright?

[Daisy's movements are instinctive as she sets the litter by Alexei's side. Very carefully, nodding in synchronization with the rest, she nods them to direct him to the litter, before preparing to rise him.]

We need to keep him laying on his side and resting so he can breathe. Use Nala's gift and the first-aid equipment we got to soothe his pain on his ribs and treat his injuries.

[Caius gets into place to help lift Alexei onto the litter when he needs to be moved. If he needs to use any first-aid equipment then he only does so after watching someone else work first so he gets an idea of what to do.]

You're gonna be okay, Alexei.

[Alexei could faintly hear their footsteps as they reach his location. What a relief, to be hearing their voices.

He braces when they started to move him onto the litter. Damn it hurt, like his insides were going to burst, but he bares it the best he could. This isn't exactly the worse thing he's gone through.]

Good...that's good. [He's tired, the throbbing pain was just enough to stop him from thinking of sleep.] Heh, I guess...our training sessions will have to be placed on hold.

I'll work hard until you're back on your feet, sir. I won't slack on my training just because you're not available.

[Asbel assists in getting Alexei situated in the litter. Once that's settled, he grabs the first aid kit and does what he can with the equipment. He's no professional, but knight training's taught him at least the basics.]

[SPARTAN-023 nods to her companions to work in unison as she lifts her side of the litter. She takes a quick look at the distance before nodding to begin their movement back to the village.

It would take a while, but he would get the care needed at the Clinic. She can last with constant physical activity, but they'll have to manage it as they carry Alexei.]

Focus on recovering, sir. They'll take care of themselves.

[Caius takes his side of the litter and keeps a steady hold, trying not to disturb Alexei in anyway.]

We'll be back before you even know it. Just try and take it easy for now, yeah?

[Even if the walk might take some time he's trying to be supportive here.]
