[There's an awful lot of noise coming from Alexei's room, mostly of metal clanking against each other and the sounds of footsteps. It was muffled a bit like a badly tuned radio when heard through the journal. Occasionally he would start mumbling to himself, but nothing anyone can pick up besides "No, that's not it" or a "hmmm". At some point it'll all go quiet, then a chuckle could be heard, faintly.]

Heh, almost-...[there was silence and then footsteps, getting louder and louder. Suddenly, there was a loud THUMP...not a sound could be heard afterwards]

Does your housekeeping involve rearranging the walls, because it kind of sounds like you're doing that.

If you're referring to the loud thumping sound, that would be several books falling on top the of the journal.

So I don't need to jump out the window to save my skin?

No. I apologize for the noise. I really didn't mean to cause a panic.

As long as the building won't collapse, it's okay. Maybe next time though you should just say you're doing something kind of loud so people don't get freaked out.

I don't mind the noise really - hell, I've got two little sisters, noise is just part of life. But I've already done my share of falling for my life, so a heads-up about that kind of thing is nice.
